12 June 17 - Pre-Summer Fun and an Award Winning Company

Greetings once more loyal fan base, I'm sure you've been sitting on tenterhooks just waiting for the latest news update from everybody's favourite London based event hire company and boy do we have news.

There's simply no better place to start than with the most exciting piece of news we can hardly wait to tell, JS Ent is now the proud recipient of the Theo Paphitis Small Business Sunday Award. Yes none other than the former dragon and retail mogul himself has presented JS with an award in recognition of our delightful twitter that you really should check out as well after finishing this article; I can not oversell it enough.

We were of course delighted to receive such a prestigious award and are very proud to be a part of the exclusive network of SBS winners. We'd like to thank our respective parents for always believing in us and everybody that has supported JS along it's illustrious 10 year journey to date.

But acceptance speeches aside of course the fun doesn't stop there because aside from the greatly deserved award we have also been busy since we last spoke, bringing the fun to events all over the country and preparing for the behemoth that always is the Great British summertime.

So let's dial the clock back a little bit and fill you in with some of the highlights of our April and May calendar.

JS Ent came over all hipster as mainstream events were becoming like so played out, the faux irony was all too much for us so we headed for a night out in Brick Lane. The Batak became the showpiece at a fictional juice bar, selling real juice, set in a fictional town entirely contained within the Old Truman's Brewery. Imagine Wayward Pines meets Back to the Future, it was sort of like that, a truly unique setting, for a truly unique event. Despite a little bit of an air of nostalgia and repression the Batak was once again well received and proved to be a much loved distraction from the toils of fictional life.

During the half term the kids might get the time off but that proves quite the opposite for us and this half term was one of the biggest hits yet and we provided the attractions for a London tour of Bounce Aloud. Bounce Aloud is one of the newest, hottest children's entertainment solutions to keep those little tykes occupied during the holidays, get them out of the house and some fun exercise. JS was more than happy to provide all the attractions, including some of our most popular; Last Man Standing, Helter Sketler, Dash N' Grab, for this children's showcase extravaganza. And we intend to continue to work closely with them in the coming months in unison to make half term boredom a thing of the past.

We once again met up with long time friends Canvey Island FC to do their end of season party, football themed parties are always my kind of thing and this year was a new football themed hit our rodeo football.

And speaking of football we also made a new friend within the footballing world, one whom we hope to be seeing for many years to come Premier League Productions. The TV network dedicated to all things football in particular the Premier League was also looking to host an end of season party which proved to be a great outing for our new Magic Mirror Selfie Booth. I can't really tell you any more as we arranged a confidentiality agreement to protect the image rights of any potential celebrity guests but lets just say you really had to be there and the Magic Mirror was a huge hit.

Finally as recently as this weekend we were proud to be part of a huge event at the Artillery Gardens a Willa Wonka themed corporate family fun day. A whole host of entertainers and event suppliers were in attendance to come together for over 1500 excited guests. With attractions for all ages from fun fairs, hall of mirrors and our very own Helter Skelter as well as an array of brilliant performers donning elaborate costumes on hand to entertain; it was a spectacular occasion and one we hope to be a part of again in the near future.

Last but certainly not least, we have some new additions to our already extensive catalogue of fun attractions. We have a brand new Inflatable Human football Table, just like the pub classic table top game but large enough to fit 10 adults inside to substitute in for the plastic players. It's guaranteed to be a barrel of laughs and is expected to be a hit this summer so get ahead of the queue now to ensure your reservation. We also took stock of another giant version of a British classic, the battle of intellectual wits that is chess, and intricate and satisfying game that can now test your guests at your event with our giant garden version.

Well that's about all for now friends, but there are always exciting developments at JS so keep it here for the latest news.

Until then I bid you

Adieu
